Our client is in search of a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join their team in Oman. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in the shipping and logistics industry, demonstrating a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building robust client relationships. The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding the customer base in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets in the shipping and logistics sector.
- Identify and approach potential clients to broaden the customer base and increase market share.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Negotiate and finalize sales contracts, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth service execution and resolve any customer issues or concerns.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the shipping and logistics industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, demonstrating an ability to drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Sound knowledge of shipping and logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and supply chain management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of initiative and a proactive approach to sales.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; additional certifications in sales or logistics would be a plus.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to travel within the region and work flexible hours to meet client needs and business demands.
